IPW 2025

jun 22, 2025 | Projecten

BuroSix attended IPW 2025 USA travel trade in Chicago. Our goal was to help position U.S. destinations such as Oregon, Portland, Seattle, and Philadelphia more strongly with Dutch and Belgian travel professionals. As a result, our clients gained visibility and new opportunities in a changing market. For example, personal meetings, new campaign ideas, and a strong presence at the show ensured we stayed top of mind with key partners.

Project for

Travel Portland, Travel Oregon, Visit Seattle, State of Washington Tourism, Port of Seattle, Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau

The challenge

The United States remains a dream destination for many Dutch and Belgian travelers. However, the current political climate and global developments have made travelers more conscious and selective. Therefore, our clients needed to remain visible and competitive in a crowded market with shifting priorities.

The solution

Vincent van Leeuwen and Nikki van Beek attended IPW 2025 in Chicago, the leading international travel trade show for the U.S. market. On behalf of our clients, we met with key Dutch and Belgian tour operators and media. Throughout the week, we represented our clients in meetings with trade and press. In addition, we shared fresh content and storylines tailored to our market. We also strengthened personal connections, explored new campaign ideas, and joined side events to stay visible in an informal setting.

Message delivered successfully

We met with all key trade and media contacts in the Dutch and Belgian markets. As a result, there was positive engagement and interest in U.S. destinations beyond the classics. In addition, we developed new ideas for press trips and co-marketing campaigns for 2025 and 2026. Our clients achieved stronger positioning in a changing travel landscape. This means our hands-on support proved valuable in connecting U.S. destinations with Dutch and Belgian audiences.
